Facebook-for-woocommerce: View Content Pixel not working

Says View Content pixel can't match products, but it does show the product info when I click the down arrow. So confused what does this mean?

I also have a similar repro on my test server. It seems like the content_type is wrong, it should be product_group, can you confirm that this was a variable product?

We'll fix this for the next version.

Upon inspection we found two problems:
(1) Sometimes the content type is incorrect (product vs product_group)
(2) The new feed upload mechanism uploads the wrong id for product group, which causes matching errors.

This will be fixed in the next version.

If you run Dynamic Ads that have audience rules based on ViewContent it may affect ad performance, yes. We have a fix, testing it now, new version with the fix coming soon within 1-2 days. Will update when that's ready.

We have a beta version of v1.8.5 with the fix. It's available here
Could you please try this new version, and do a Force Resync, then check using the helper tool to see if the ViewContent is firing correctly? If it's still not working after this, could you send us a link to the product that is not working and we will investigate?

The reason it's a beta is we're not 100% sure the fix will fix (1) in my previous comment, because we can't reproduce this problem on some of our test servers. Once we have confirmation that it does indeed fix the issue, we can release this fully.
