I tried to install all versions @Win 7 64 bit ... When I open the application a message shows up:
eEDEX-UI failed to launch
File not found:
Nothing else after File not found:?
Maybe powershell is missing? I got this error when I changed 'powershell.exe' to 'bash' in the settings file, when it should have been 'ubuntu.exe' (running WSL).
Powershell seems to work as expected ...
@Pastant Could this be a duplicate of #267? Were you trying to launch the shell with parameters?
I didn't try to launch the shell with parameters ...
welp.
Is this still happening in v1.1.1?
Still the same problem ...
@malditoprotozoo This is a different issue - see the discussion on #190
Hi, was wondering if there was any update. I installed on Win 7 64 Bit Pro and tried running as admin and not running as admin and got this error both times. View attached photo. Thanks!
And never mind, found out that it is an issue with powershell like said above, just change it to cmd.exe and it will work.
Well that is still an issue and quite frankly I don't really know where to start to investigate this. Perhaps it will be fixed in 2.0 with the updates applied to node-pty.
Confirmed fixed for me!
