Devilution: Other monster types spawning from barrels
It seems that other types of monsters other than Skeletons are spawning from barrels in higher dungeon levels. So far I've been able to spawn Obsidian Lords, and Storm Lords.

No need for save file. It's a general issue.

I haven't run into it yet. A save file will make this a lot quicker and easier to pinpoint. I cannot look yet anyway. not until tonight.

I don't have this file anymore. The monsters are dead, and so is diablo.

I think I might take this issue.. I am trying to recall how this worked exactly in the Origional Diablo.
I think only skeletons are allowed to popup from the barrels and up to a certain level. I am guessing this stops at Catacombs.

According to Jarulf's Guide, barrels can only produce a skeleton if there are skeletons on the same level. The probability is 20%, but only for barrels which are not exploding barrels. It stops at Catacombs because skeletons stop appearing after dlvl 6.
