Let me know what else you need! I'm working from this guide.
WORKING GROUP NAME: Linode
WORKING GROUP PURPOSE:
This work group is for developing, maintaining and supporting Linode automation modules in Ansible.
AT LEAST TWO INITIAL WORKING GROUP MEMBERS:
IRC: decentral1se / GitHub: @lwm
IRC: marques / GitHub: @displague
As a result of proposal over at:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/ansible-devel/xTnkhYz9TNw
I know that @zbal and @InTheCloudDan are also listed as module maintainers but not sure if they're still invested in working Linode much lately. You're both also very welcome to join this effort as well.
Thanks but I haven't done much with Ansible and Linode recently. More than happy to give up the reins if there's enough people to be active with it from here.
Per the instructions in the guide, I believe the IRC channel is set up. The "/staff" group doesn't seem to exist though.
!*@ansible/staff/* is not registered.
Hi,
I can assist with whatever needs doing when I return after AnsibleFest.
If you look #ansible I think we need those permissions, though without freenode staff.
If anyone is at AnsibleFest say hi. We have a Contributors Summit on Thursday in Austin as well.
Also update "how to create a Working Group" process and ensure we have a bit about updating the Bot to notify issues
Not at AnsibleFest but next time! Thanks for picking this one up.
Happy to improve documentation as I moved through the process.
I'll do this, currently updating https://github.com/ansible/community/pull/372 so I document the procedure.
Are @lwm @InTheCloudDan @displague the initial Working Group leads, anyone I've missed?
Solid, thanks @gundalow! Yes, that is the inital group. If anyone else comes long, we'll ask them to replace you @InTheCloudDan, since that seems to suit you.
@lwm sounds good to me, happy to help when and where I can. I don't have a lot of time to devote to it currently so I won't mind at all if someone that can dedicate more becomes available.
Submitted https://github.com/ansible/ansible/pull/46635 @displague! You'll have some new special powers.
Initial docs added in https://github.com/ansible/community/pull/373
Feel free to raise PR to update that.
You will shortly receive an invite to ansible-community which will give you commit powers to github.com/ansible/community
Final call out @InTheCloudDan (for now :)) - what is your IRC handle? Do you lurk? Needed for the group documentation. You don't need to take much responsbility there but still good to have.
So you now have:
#ansible-linode@lwm same username on freenode as here :) I joined the channel.
Solid! Right, I'm going to close this one off, thanks all :100:
