GitHub has a Thumbs up feature to agree with a post or issue. Posting a 'me too' message that adds no value that will then email everyone subscribed to the issue is unnecessary.

That's exactly what I wanted to do to get some feedback. If an issue has too much activity of any kind, people can unsubscribe.

There at Jitsi Meet (https://jitsi.org/jitsi-meet/) is API (https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/blob/master/doc/api.md) - perhaps you can use it for audio/video conferencing, screen sharing, etc., like Slack does?

I think this would allow most people to transition out of Slack-based communities if this was implemented as well since we're going to end up as a all-in-one solution.
