Client: Not an Issue but I Would Pay Money!
I would gladly pay for this service, especially the cloud storage.
I would also suggest that the company should market to schools, particularly universities who are often doing ad-hoc groups where files need to be shared in a seamless way along with chat. Every class has a group project, and it is just so easy to set one up.
Schools might be interested in this for other reasons as well, on a more institutional basis.
At any rate, I would gladly pay money, especially if my disk quota could be extended.

Curious what the business model is for real, as I don't want to spend the effort to adopt (thus change what we do) and then you guys dissapear?

How can you (Keybase) afford giving 250 GB for free to your users?
What happens if some company wanted or needed to buy Keybase, how would such a move affect the privacy or security of your service?

I am also curious to know what the business model is. Offering this much for free is quite suspicions.
They got 10 million USD as investment in 2015, I guess that is what they are still running on.

Some future business model will probably come, I think I read somewhere that they might do some type of premium/plus subscription with additional features, but everything that is currently given will always be free. Lets hope they stick to that promise 馃
