There exists a discussion/issue (Keybase Verification Suggestions #518 — albeit there is in another repository) that already have several suggested services to use as verification.

As far as I have read, GitLab hasn't been suggested, perhaps it could be a good idea to ask there to add it, hoping that it gets additional/more visibility.
