I have the same issue and I recognize if I insert the command "gettokenbalances {} true true " the BTC value is different as I insert the command "listaccounts {} false false true". The value of DFI and BTC-DFI is the same at both commands.

I have the same issue and the issue that I get the error message "Execution test failed:..." (see picture)

even though I now installed the latest version v2.1.11 the issue still occurs. Within the release notes of the latest version is described that this issue is fixed, but it isn't.

Attached you can find all relevant logs.

Hopefully you can fix this issue. I'm now trying it for one week to add by BTCs and DFIs to the liquidity pool, it's really frustating.

worked for me too, with downgrading to 2.1.6 (not 2.1.9), added LM, then upgraded to 2.1.12 again. seems to work. will keep you updated if i see sth strange.

@izzycsy still very annoying un-resolved issue. wout Swap and LM the app is basically useless. for dev team, again the logs.

Hi @rang3r72 , regarding the issue of balance difference reflected in wallet & CLI, your wallet amount(s) have been correct since the start, while gettokenbalances had a bug — where it's over reporting the amount. Thus, you don’t lose money that money never belonged to you. If in v2.1.12 the issue persist, please create a new issue on it. You may copy & paste the screenshots you sent previously. We can further discuss on the problem in the new ticket. Let’s keep this thread related to what the original author opened. Thank you for your understanding.

Also tried to rescan UTXO to not avail.
Restarted several times with rescan.
Today, not sure if related, I get "corrupted block database" error. Had to restart the wallet and re-synch again

Sure, here are the latest screenshots of the two new errors.
Because of them I don’t even get to the initial error anymore "recipient () does not refer to any valid address” anymore,
but I’m sure it’s also still there once it gets passed the other errors.
I’ve restarted an re-sychned the app twice to no avail. It gives corrupt block database error as soon as I restart it. Maybe I’m not shutting it down correctly. I go to the menu and click Quit in the deft-app menu. But that worked in the past.
Either this app has a lot of bugs or I’m doing something stupid.

Thx @izzycsy. I'resynched successfully now after freeing all memory. I closed almost all apps.
Here's my shocking finding:
My iMac has 32GB of RAM.
Synching the Defi-App really eats into memory. It captured up to 17.44 GB at peaks (at around 99.7% completion).
It then completed synchronization with 9.82 GB of memory, which it seems to hold.
Could it be that the app keeps the entire Defi blockchain in memory (RAM)?

Unfortunately, despite the successful synchronization I still have the issue:
"recipient () does not refer to any valid address"

I fixed it on defi-app 2.1.12!

I first moved a small amount DFI,BTC and USDT from Cake to my Wallet.

When I tried to add to one of the Liquidity Pools, either BTC/DFI or USDT/DFI I got the Error "recipient () does not refer to any valid address"

Read through https://www.reddit.com/r/defiblockchain/comments/kb10d3/stepbystep_changing_dfitoken_to_dficoin/ and checked output of following commands:

getbalance
47.30860936

which returned the amount DFI I withdraw from Cake.

gettokenbalances {} true true

My guess was that the problem was the other way around as in the Step-By-Step Token-to-Coin solution DanielZirkel posted, the problem is that the DFI are Coin, not Token.

So, I opened DEX and swapped my USDT to DFI and went back to console:

"BTC": 0.00280272
}

At that point my wallet showed 58.80820145 DFI cause the GUI does not make difference between Tokens and Coins.

Went back to Liquidity Mining, choose BTC-DFI and Voilá - it works.

When adding to Liquidity Mining pool, the amount of DFI token doesn't matter, as long it is not 0 (in that case the 'recipient () does not refer to any valid address' error shows up)
So in my case, I got only 11 DFI Tokens from swapping the USDT via DEX, when I added BTC to Liquidity Pool it auto-tokenized the missing tokens from the coins which shows up in my Wallet as Transaktion "UTXOs to Account"

The main issue with the _recipient () does not refer to any valid address_ error is the confusing error message and missing a GUI way of swapping from Coin to Token ;)

To my comment above about the 9.81GB of memory blocked by the app after synchronizing, I noticed that it frees the memory after a restart of the app.
So the question to pass on to the dev team please is:
a) Can the sync algorithm be changed so it doesn't consume so much memory (up to 17.44 GB)?
b) Can the memory be released after completing the synchronization?

Hi @TTSIP @Shekelboomer , I hope your issue is resolved by following @Kracht 's steps. The error occurs because you've 0 accountDFI balance — which is required to perform swap and other functions. The app tries to search for an address to deposit into so it looks for a DFI address but can’t find any, hence the error.

It works for me now but for synching I have to close all other apps and free memory (RAM and disk). Synching seems to be done entirely in RAM memory.
Hence with the growing size of the blockchain it seems to need more and more every day. Yesterday, for me, it peaked at 18.5GB for a short moment at around 99.7%, and then completed with 10.5GB held in memory. I then need to close and restart the app to free that memory for it to come down to the operational level at about 450MB.

I believe soon, most computers won’t be able to handle it unless they’re loaded with extensive amounts of memory (greater than 32GB) or take ages with disk swapping.
