Be able to use the space bar as a cursor to scroll through typed text.
The operation would be to leave your finger pressed on the space key and without lifting your finger from the space key move your finger to the left or right to make the same movement the cursor over the written text.
Thats already possible. In gestures you can configure to move the cursor swiping left and write

It is not possible. I don't say make a single gesture, I ask that it be like a trackpad in the space bar.
Bump on this feature request/modification.
IOs is one example, and there are already open source implementations of this feature here:
https://github.com/rkkr/simple-keyboard
I tried that Simple Keyboard, the feature is called "Swipe space to move pointer".
It's great to use but for me it misses some great things AnySoftKbrd has.
P.S.: chewbacca is still on the drums, but davidbowie is not available anymore :)
Good suggestion, I agree with this.
@felixgonsug The swipe left/right/up/down is a cool feature but very slow for moving the cursor. I really love what Microsoft did with the keyboard on Windows Phones, see picture here.
See the little blue dot between the "emoji" and ".com" keys? If you touch this dot and move it around it acts like the 4 arrow keys on a computer keyboard. Please see picture here.
Having used a Windows Phone since 2014 I think this little dot is very convenient to move the cursor precisely.
Should I create another Feature Request?
