Antennapod: Always running in background since a few weeks ago
Lately it is always running in background. Never did before. Same settings, no auto updates or other sync enabled in settings.

Also having same issue even after rebooting and reinstalling. Audio playback quits when app is closed and will not resume until phone is rebooted.

I am having the same issue and can only stop it from running by manually force quitting the app.

Same here, service keeps running in background. It also automatically starts after reboot without opening the app

The problem will be fixed in version 2.0.0 (which is currently in beta). Instead of force quitting, you can also just play a podcast to make the notification go away.
