Hi @vitalkanev, thanks for taking time to contribute, awesome bug report :+1:

Basically, we don't have an icon for this mimetype. Could you rename the bug title (smth like "Missing mimetype application-x-theme)?

Can we use this issue to brainstorm some ideas? These are not suggestion, but merely to help us decide on which metaphor we want. Any ideas @ubuntujaggers ?

Some oldschool ideas:

Similar idea but a more modern icon:

This one is from here and is similar to Samsung has. I like this one although it's the same metaphor as Sam's Paper icon set user for preferences.

Some use the suit and this one is a funny take on that:

More paint:

This one is really ugly, but I like the wand:

I really like the rainbow paint roller :)

But index.theme file when opening doesn't allow to install a theme. It is just information about a theme.

What about using this one the suru++ guys created?

It's a lovely roller - do we think the rainbow would be a bit excessive in a Suru context?

I don't know. We could give it a try (with the suru color palette ofc), but this simply one looks very clean IMO

Being a mime type for a text file, I much appreciate the suru++ approach. Should we ask them about this, or we can draw our own?

@gusbemacbe do you have time to make a pull request for this icon?

@Feichtmeier

Yes, I do. I am still a contributor of Suru++ Ubuntu and author of Suru++ 30. I accept contributing and following the rules of Ubuntu.

Just an observation. That icon of two colours (white and blue) with tie, taken from the internet, belongs to @fabianalexisinostroza's Antü.

Why not 😃

Привет Виталий (@vitalkanev), because during the whole night I have been solving the VSCode extension, but I was done. I was about going to bed, but I received@Feichtmeier, then I answered and I accepted. :-)

Ha ofc! Take your time and thanks for contributing

I am ready. I will be preparing.
