Hello all and thank you again for this great repository and the support that we have from everyone.
I just want to say that i also updated to Mojave from App Store directly using version 1.2.8 without any problem. I have Xiaomi i5/8GB and im using 2 Dell U2417H screens connected with HDMI and Usb-C Xiaomi original hub with closed lid. I didn't have to run the audio fix, the audio was working without any problem after the update. I had to run kext utility in order to detect the trackpad only. Everything is smooth and i'm using MacBook 15.2 smbios.
I also like to say that i have triple boot on my Xiaomi, Hackintosh, Linux Mint 18.2 and Windows 10. I run all profiles that you created @stevezhengshiqi and also run GeekBench on Linux and Windows. See the scores bellow:
Hackintosh: Battery: 10842, Balance: 14000, Performance: 14800
Linux: 13800
Windows: 13800
So it seems that the power management on hackintosh are way better that the other two compared to the performance profile that you created. This is just to have a picture how well this hackintosh works :)
Thank you again!!!
@gplast I will need notes on that triple boot please, I can't seem to get even windows and hackingtosh to dual-boot
The problem that i was facing is that clover was not able to boot from the same EFI partition with windows. So i created an EFI partition on my second SSD, i copy-paste the EFI folder from the repository and i was able to boot to Hackintosh without affecting the windows partition at all. Linux boot-loader is also installed on Windows EFI Partition, so the best think that you need to do in my experience is to install Windows first, then install Hackintosh on the same Drive if you want, just remember to partition the drive before installing windows. The linux installation is up to you if you want to do it. Personally i have the linux partition on the other Disk.
Finally you have to have an EFI partition on another drive or on another EFI partition on the same Drive(Im not sure about that) that is only used for Clover folder. I can boot from clover to Windows and hackintosh without any problem. I can not boot to linux directly from clover, i need to press F12 and then choose linux boot-loader in order to work. I hope that this will help you, if you need anything else please let me know.
I have Hackingtosh and windows on separate drives, if I try to boot windows through clover I get a blues screen but when I boot windows using F12 it works as mentioned here #84
I dont know exactly what is the problem, but fast boot might cause this problem. Can you try booting into windows with f12, then restart the computer and try to boot to windows from clover and test whether you get a blue screen?
I have i7 version and with CPUfriend provided by @daliansky I only get 12k score in geekbench!! Very weird
@alexmenn Maybe you have to check your setting. Make sure your BOOT and CLOVER folders are completely v1.2.8.
HINT: It seems like you edited config.plist a lot. Try to reverse to the original one. Some app (like Clover Configurator) will cause mess in plist.
It worked downloading again full EFI and replacing it. Thank you :)
@paajake have you had any success with your dual boot issue? I have the i7 running Mojave (I cloned the latest commit vs. the 1.2.8 release) and have the same issue - same setup drive 1 Windows, drive 2 Hackintosh.
Booting windows normally (without Clover) works fine, using the Clover bootloader will cause Windows to bluescreen.
@mwarf no I haven't found a solution, using the F12 for now
@paajake @mwarf I see a workaround at https://github.com/daliansky/XiaoMi-Pro/issues/93. You guys can try the AptioMemoryFix.efi.zip provided. Hope to hear great news.
Thank you @stevezhengshiqi ! I will try it - the file I currently have is "AptioMemoryFix-64.efi" - the file provided in the workaround #93 is "AptioMemoryFix.efi" - should I rename and replace, or use a different file with the -64 appended to it?
@mwarf Rename and replace.
@stevezhengshiqi thank you, this fixed the problem, tested through multiple reboots in both Windows 10 Pro x64 and Mojave 10.14 - Very nice!@paajake
works well for me too. Thanks!
