Woocommerce-ios: Any chance to use WooCommerce Mobile App without Jetpack?

There is no functionality I need from Jetpack. I only need an app to check my store orders. Is there a way to connect to my store without installing Jetpack?

Thank you for reporting the issue. WooCommerce Mobile apps are being developed in other repositories:

• iOS: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-ios
• Android: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-android

I am going to move your bug report to the iOS repository so that the right team could take a look further.

To answer your question, however, there is no way to use either app without Jetpack. I will let the mobile team to expand on that further though.

Jetpack is required because there are limitations in either XML-RPC and the core WordPress API which Jetpack API allows us to work around easily, and some features that can only be provided by a plugin.

Is it possible to provide a simple plugin for that, if so, why don't you provide this? Without jetpack overload?
