Hi! Awesome project! (I could not start a new topic without saying it).
It could be possible to add more action to the button input?
For now you can press it, press it double and long press.
It could be usefull to have also 3-click, 4-click and maybe other combination, like click-long click. So for example you can use this setup:
1click=change effect
2click=change color
3click=Toggle on/off
Long press=Brightness+ (Until release)
Click+long press=Brightness-
Another question:
Is there a macro that can do this:
Long press=brightness+ to max and if you keep pressed once on max birghtness start decreasing brightness and so on? Like a loop from min bri to max and vice versa until release the button
Thank you
Hi, thank you!
I like the idea of adding more functions to the button with more than double presses.
Especially brightness control, as that isn't easily possible. I will implement such a feature soon. I think it would make sense to change the default long press action when no macro is set to fade up and down the brightness until the button is released :)
Love your work!! really awesome
I came here to ask exactly the same.
Thank you for all the great work
Could be also useful add more input button, if you could add other 2 input, we could add a bri+ and bri- button. Or do other other stuff.
Mapping input button (like a variable) to the gpio pin, via web it will also be very useful and smart, so I can choice button and pin.. for example.. button1 => D3, button2 => D4.. and so one.. and select what action/macro will be execute on click, long press, double click, click+long press.... of every single button..
But this could be a long work for coding..

I came here to ask exactly the same.could you expand the double press to like six times press..
enable cycling through brightness with long press (like other single button light controls)
(and it will start in the opposite direction compared to the last press). I could not find any macro for that.
Thank you for all the great work—

Yep, multi button support is also cool and something planned! Keep in mind you'll have to add a 10k pullup resistor to the all button pins but gpio 0 :)
sorry my english,
I use wled to illuminate the outdoor patio, white light, but then at Christmas, I convert the lights to make effects.
it would be nice to be able to insert a button for ignition and start-up, as is done with a home light bulb, I tried but I can't, does anyone have any suggestions?
congratulations wled for me the best...
