Hi,
Tweeter, facebook ok but where is the OneDrive Service ??????
Thanks
I want to up-vote this more than once!
Please, please, please model this after Windows.Storage - don't create a brand new file system API for developers to use when this is created! A service like this would unlock OneDrive in UWP apps.
Can you explain what you'll expect from this kind of API?
Something like:
OneDriveService.Instance.CreateFolder, .CreateFile, .GetFiles etc... ?
Yes, something like that.
Ok duly noted!
Could be a killing feature if natively integrated.
So probably something close to the UWP OneDrive app in term of functionality?
@demozone9 is working on it for 1.2
@deltakosh Is there a branch/place where we can have a look at this OneDrive service?
Is there a chance that there will be support for BackgroundDownloads? As far as I remember NuGet OneDrive API lacks that which makes old, deprecated Live API better in that case.
@Romasz I don't believe anyone has started a branch for this. Feel free to kick one off.
@ScottIsAFool Haven't @deltakosh mentioned above that @demozone9 was/is working on it?
@EricVernie started it. I hope he could give us feedback soon
(Seems like Eric is OOF so we won't have this feature for 1.2)
@deltakosh I wonder how far this service should be here developed - like OneDrive SDK? Or it should use the SDK?
Will wait for Eric's feedback.
The service is finished, Just need to implement a sample and I PR
@EricVernie That's great, can't wait to see it 馃槃 Seems like this toolkit is going to be a really nice thing, it already will eliminate few of my own libraries.
@Romasz that's our final goal :D
