Webogram: When will there be a new release?

The last release is version 0.5.7 but the version on telegram web is 0.7.0. hoping to see a new release here.

it's not like you need releases, you can git clone and have the latest version.

Some time ago Telegram announced a contest for a new web-client - however, haven't heard anything since then.

I wouldn't expect much of this project anymore especially since there is a actively developed alternative available.

@Aokromes cloning the master branch and running npm install reports "487 vulnerabilities (475 low, 12 high)". Fixing some of them implies installing packages with breaking changes (says npm). I think some context is required before any user can go through the process with confidence.

Perhaps updating the install instructions could be the first step to allow users use an updated version, that'd be great.

cannot help on that, myself i use telegram desktop xd i am here to maintain the tracker clean of duplicates and already fixed bugs :)
