i think i got everyone! if not; lmk...

also happy to pay out more so keep the quests coming!

Thank @owocki - submitting quests works again, here is mine: https://gitcoin.co/quests/44/tomorrow-maker-dais

Thanks for fixing submissions, here is my second quest: https://gitcoin.co/quests/46/leap-onto-plasma-with-leapdao-mainnet

Some of the Questions are too long, so they don't render well. If we had edit functionality I could fix it myself.

Wow thanks @owocki ! Didn't know there was 0.1 for making a quest! I just wanted to hep educate about NFTs.

Would you like another quest made on the topic ?

@owocki I've just created a Quest on 'Smart Contract Best Practices' (Advanced):
https://gitcoin.co/quests/50/smart-contract-best-practices

ps: it's already tested and ready to go!

With a particular focus on Solidity.
The Quest has been created using resources from ConsenSys Academy, Blockchain Developer Program On-Demand that I'm completing (Module 9.2 Smart Contract Best Practices).

@owocki I've just completed the creation of the quest on Token Curated Registries:
https://gitcoin.co/quests/41/tcr-ninja

It's already live but... the last question could use 30 sec instead of 15 for answering. :-)

@martinlsanchez done!

@naszam your quest is live! awesome..
@VexyCats yes pls!
@DistributedDoge your quest is awesome.. thank you!
@calumtomeny just tested; good stuff

i'd love some feedback on this PR from everyone https://github.com/gitcoinco/web/pull/5427 - which monetizes Gitcoin Quests with Codefund Ethical Ads (and proposes a rev share)

@owocki Sounds interesting! We should definitely try it on Gitcoin Quests!

Submitted https://gitcoin.co/quests/54/junior-eip-technician. Any feedback is welcome on tweaking it

I think I've found an irregularity: the above quest is not enabled yet and as such the kudos cannot be redeemed after beating it. That it, unless clicking on "Redeem prize" when attempting to beat it again after successfully beating it. Basically anyone can claim any kudos they want by submitting a quest.

@axic the second question on EIP types I am certain all options are correct but the quest fails me like 3 times already :) Tell me you made a mistake? Either that or I'm a total idiot

@elenadimitrova I think it is correct. The trick is that (confusingly) there are types and categories... see EIP-1. Maybe I should remove that question as it may be a blocker :)

The questions after that are more fun

@axic I did try that separation as well before and didn't work, Standards Track and Meta are reported incorrect 🤷‍♀
Edit: Perhaps to be more explicit, the question can instead be: What are valid sub-types (categories?) of Standards Track EIP : Core, Networking etc ..
The mass EIP consumer will be working with the standards track EIP anyway

Types: Standards, Meta, Informational
Categories: Core, Networking, Interface, ERC

Used types and categories as that is the correct wording in EIP-1. Perhaps those first two questions are a bit of an overkill. (And it is confusing enough anyway)

Let me know about the rest

@axic sorry but I still don't understand the answer to the question: "WHICH OF THE FOLLOWING ARE EIP TYPES? (SELECT ALL THAT APPLY)" where the options are:

1) Standards Track
2) Networking
3) Meta
4) Core

Isn't it correct the answers to be 1) and 3)?

There are 5 options there and 1, 3, 5 must be selected. Isn't it showing 5 options for you? It was showing 5 for me.

Not clear there's another option on there :( I'm on a 13'' MacBook Pro. @owocki maybe can be added to the list of improvements for the quest UI?

Screen Shot 2019-10-31 at 14 21 34

Ah that explains it then! I'm using an external screen with quite a big screen real estate and it shows up there.

Also sorry you had to spend so much time on this, I really appreciate it!

Btw, I have 4-5 answers on most of them so perhaps it wont show up properly on a small screen :(

@axic I think let's leave the questions on types. It's important to understand these when working with EIPs but the difference is perhaps too subtle between types and categories. I still think a more specific question like "What are valid categories of Standards Track EIP?" or "What EIP type does ERC category belong to?" will be more meaningful and require some deeper thinking. It can replace the 2 separate questions on types and categories atm. Instead we can add another question on "After the EIP editor assigns a 'Last Call' status on an EIP, how many days are there at most, until the review period ends?"

Also just on the last question (6), you might want to reword the question to replace "draft" with "idea" as that's how it's referred to in EIP1 and also people submit ideas (as PRs) and only after merging these do they become "draft"s.

Also, the EIP1 itself that serves as a reading material needs some updates, there are open PRs to clean it up, one which I participated in hasn't moved for over a year where I was desperately trying to get a flowchart that visualises the process in the EIP1 as it's notoriously complex and confusing when read verbatim just off that.

I think I've found an irregularity: the above quest is not enabled yet and as such the kudos cannot be redeemed after beating it. That it, unless clicking on "Redeem prize" when attempting to beat it again after successfully beating it. Basically anyone can claim any kudos they want by submitting a quest.

would someone mind throwing up a ticket for the responsiveness issues + ill fund it.

@owocki, I have created another quest (https://gitcoin.co/quests/55/impact-of-blockchain-to-money-and-business) based on this topic :
https://youtu.be/Pl8OlkkwRpc
How the blockchain will change..

Will also submit via gitcoin.

Hi @owocki thanks a lot, token received! Finishing 2019 and welcome to 2020!

@walidmujahid I'm not liking the idea of having quests based on a weekly newsletter. The primary idea behind Gitcoin quests is to teach developers more about working with Ethereum, not navigating the weekly news. I am myself a regular reader of the week-in-ethereum and value it highly but definitely not in the format you're suggesting.

@elenadimitrova I think I agree with you. I personally liked the original Etherland quest, so I created the two succeeding ones, but there was always something that seemed off.

I assume I did not fully think it through as I myself am also a regular reader, but for those who are not, I would imagine the quests would essentially become about "navigating the weekly news" as you put it or even remebering the news you read weeks ago -which may not be fun at all for regular readers.

I had tried to make the two Etherland quests I made as 'non-time bound' as possible, but I think it is not efficient.

While I personally enjoyed the original Etherland quest -hence why I suggested more: https://github.com/gitcoinco/web/issues/5334#issuecomment-563059301- I think it may be simpler to take more specific pieces that may provide "Web 3.0 ah-ha moments" or items more in line with teaching "developers more about working with Ethereum" as opposed to a quest based on the entire newsletter.
