Hi @owocki I would like to give this task a try. In notifications.py I am going to add the function that post the bounty to craigslist ? Is this the correct approach ?

Yep makes sense to me

It seems that an accountID is required for bulk posting.
To get an account ID you need to have paid account.
I am not sure how to get one or use a test account.

https://www.craigslist.org/about/help/paid_posting_account

Any pointers on this ?

For more information regarding access to the bulk posting interface, please call us at 415-399-5200 x8283.

I will call today and ask about this. If we cannot get access to the paid posting interface, we might have to do a web scraper.

Left them a voicemail. We'll see if I hear back later today

Just spoke to a very nice lady in their billing department. Looks like there is a $6k/mo minimum. I'm going to remove the requirement to use the paid API. I think this'll need to be done with scraping.

@subramanianv you still interested in this task?

I am interested to do this via scraping if @subramanianv is not
I can try with requests maintaining session and cookies or else go with a headless selenium approach

@owocki I will closely watch this task. @rajatkapoor can work on this if he is interested.

@rajatkapoor go for it. if you decide not to do the task, please let us know so someone else can claim it

On it 👍

@rajatkapoor pls submit a claim at https://gitcoin.co/funding/claim?source=https://github.com/gitcoinco/web/issues/42
