General Description

You can run two instances of Wasabi. One for Mainnet and another for TestNet.

If we consider #3702 (not let Wasabi run multiple times on the same machine), this is a bug, but anyway can be an interesting feature.

How To Reproduce?

1. Open Wasabi.
2. Change Network under Settings or into the config file.
3. Don't close Wasabi!
4. Open Wasabi again.
5. Now you got two instances: one on MainNet and another on TestNet.

This is by design because they use mostly different files.

I remember there was a design decision to allow this.

Maybe running various instances can be disabled completely for users in the direction pointed by #3702, and just be available in another way for developing or testing purposes.

I consider this way that I have discovered a bug, and not something being used, or covered by the documentation, at least I haven't found it:

... the setting does only apply for the next start of Wasabi, so you must close Wasabi, and then re-open it before you are on testnet.

This is by design. The wallet is using different folders on different Networks, so there shouldn't be file problems.

@molnard But the user can load the same wallet on two different networks at the same time.

In this case, in my opinion there must:

• Be an explanation of the procedure in the documentation
• Get back to TestNet color of the window Have a different window color for TestNet, to prevent errors while running two instances.

@ibertario the color in the screenshot is different because I use the i3 window manager, which displays the border in unique colors for each virtual machine.

Identify in a similar way that it's running in TestNet can be a great feature and I think it would be useful for those who use two instances.
