Yes, the problem is that users forget their passwords or make mistakes during wallet creation.
I think Wasabi should do what Electrum wallet does: user has to reenter the seed manually (no copy/pasted allowed) and password in order to finish the wallet creation process. This is similar to the wallet recovery process.
Alternatively we could generate the wallet as we do today but in a last step ask user to reenter the password to verify it can decrypt the wallet.
Any solution that help to minimize the risk of someone losing access would be a step forward.
I acknowledge this is an issue. I don't like the described solution. I personally find it offensive, it's like the wallet wants to say I'm stupid so it forces me to do unnecessary stuff and wasting my time. I like the described alternative with the modification that we can postphone password confirmation (remove from the wallet creation) so make the user confirm his password after the wallet is generated when mnemonics are shown.
