Vim-airline: can I have only one status line stay on bottom?

Created on 27 Jan 2017  路  1Comment  路  Source: vim-airline/vim-airline

environment

  • vim: 8
  • vim-airline: 7df411d
  • OS: OS/X
  • Have you reproduced with a minimal vimrc: nope
    if you are using terminal:
  • terminal: iterm2

actual behavior

Sorry I'm new to air-line but I just have little problem with window split.
When I only use one window in vim, air-line just work fine:

When I split vim vertical,I got my status line been divided to two parts. And both window has only half width, when this happens ,air-line can't display well cause width isn't enough :

expected behavior

I mean, could air-line use whole status line when I split window, not just half-width?

not possible. statusline is per window. You cannot have one line accross all windows.
