Because they're just a puddle of colored transparent goo without any blood, bones, or organs besides the brain (and maybe eyes?). Even if they did get facehugged, there would be nothing stopping them from reaching into their own body and just pulling whatever out.

Picking up borers and shoving them into your chest is a great idea.

Another weird fact about slime people is that if you die while facehugged, since your body melts it ejects the dead larva out of you.
