What sort of QA are you looking for here, @Journerdism?

I think I understand this better now, so here are some more specific acceptance criteria that I propose:

1. Ensure that the repo installs properly and builds its assets during the npm install process. We can test this out locally with npm link.
2. I would also consider addressing #1417 so that the Sass include paths are easier to work with.

Also, I am 👍 on #1417 as being part of the work for this, but look to @Journerdism on whether or not it's added into this sprint. It would be great to have and would love to see this get in.
