AI lords do not do more than 4 siege equipment buildings. How does Frederick do 6 Trebuchets? = magic.
ByBurton's UCP patch causes Wolf to do only 1 siege engine during sieges instead of his regular 4, through it was supposed to be 8(I edited troop types, but keept regular sizes, so I don't really understand what's going on. Maybe max enginers is supposed to be equal to the cost of the enginers for siege equiment gear total, otherwise of enginers ammount > siege equipment required enginers ammount turns to 0, and the "bonus enginers" happen to be the first(just a thought of mine). Anyway what the hell? :D
Issues regarding my editor should be opened on my issues page.
No, max engineers is the count of engineers the AI builds at max. They do build up to 8.
For me it is working. If you think it is an issue with my editor, please post an issue on my repository.
Edit: And I did not create the UCP, I created the AICE.
Yes. Was late hour and I typo UCP instead of AICE xD
Anyway any tips on how to make an AI use all of the 8 siege equipments and do more enginers than barely enough for just a single tend? I edited your Wolf from the suggested AIC file balance patch you posted. I didn't change the army values at all tho, yet the AI keeps making only one tend...
The AI will only build one siege engine on its first attack. An additional is added after each successive attack, to a maximum of 8 engines. But I could be wrong here.
With the text editor I was able to give the wolf 8 siege engines
@J0J0Jo Right on the very first siege-attack?
@Rakso69 No AI will ever build all their siege engines on their first attack. It takes some time.
@ByBurton Makes no sense to me. As I said multiple times Frederick somehow does 6 trebuchets right away on his first attack. Other AIs do 4 siege equipment gears, while AIs edited by human do only 1 lol
Can you send me your aic file? I can't believe something is working differently for you.

Is there maybe another unidentified parameter that determines the number of attack units required per siege engine?
e.g. if that parameter is 15 than there is 1 siege engine for 15 attack units, 2 for 30 units, 3 for 45 and so on? Maybe something like that could cause different behaviour?
the amount of siegeengines build on first attack depends on if the total amount of attacktroops from all attackgroups setup fits into the attackbasetroops. The proportion of the fit, will roughly define the proportion of siegeengines build. But i could be wrong, so correct me if i am and you know more by now ^^
