Is it possible to create a script that would allow AI to build more siege weapons (siege towers, shields)?

By the way, in the siege scenarios and in the free construction of the AI, during the raid it uses both shields and siege towers. This means that the script is still there.

Shields on towers too for AI would be amazing!

Siege towers would also be amazing for the AI, particularly for an AI like The Emir, it would be devastatingly effective, not only could he direct his siege Arabian swordsmen to climb them but any of his raiding Arabian swordsmen would have a path into the enemy castle to devastate it too. Although it would probably make him too strong compared to Saladin!

Another thing about portable shields, I think need to be more expensive to make, they are too cheap to make at 5 gold I think considering how effective they are.

And for siege towers they need to take more damage from arrows and crossbows and also the AI needs to be able to destroy them more easily once they are at the walls which they struggle to do.

To be fair, the reason AIs don't use shields or siege towers is because there probably wasn't a script made for that. I agree with AIs using more siege engines, but the coding needed for them to actually use shields/towers would likely have to be built from scratch. Unless it's buried somewhere in the exe and Firefly simply didn't enable it.

And yes, please nerf Shields lol. They are the most overpowered thing in the game. I suggest greatly reducing their speed. One engineer carrying a giant wooden shield should not run as fast as a mounted Knight. They should be pikemen-level speed at best. I'd also make them more expensive, maybe around 60-80 gold a piece. But as a boost, maybe increase their radius of protection? That way you don't need a blob of 30 shields to protect your archers. 5-6 shields for a group of say, 20 archers would be good.

They should be slower, more expensive, slightly bigger area of radius and maybe a very slight increase in damage from arrows, slinger stones and crossbow bolts.
