Trinitycore: Dungeon Finder is not automatically refreshed

Created on 16 Jan 2021  路  5Comments  路  Source: TrinityCore/TrinityCore

Dungeon Finder is the "Looking for Dungeon" (LFD).
LFD should automatically refresh past dungeons (not heroic. Heroic dungeons has 24 hours time remaining, and it should automatically be updated) and not save them.

now it works:
LFD do not update non heroic dungeons, you must update it from yourself. (Right click on your portrait and click update dungeons).

I don't think I understand what you mean.

@gygyti : commit rev. hash is always lowercase (think of it as programming code hexadecimal math): b86b21a

Not sure what you are trying to say in your ticket, because you chose not to follow the ticket template, where you are asked to write the information we need to understand exactly what the problem is.

Ok let鈥檚 see

  1. Try to start the dungeon from LFD (search dungeon)
  2. Enter the dungeon
  3. Kill all bosses from dungeon
  4. Exit the dungeon
  5. Try to start new search dungeon from LFD
  6. Enter the same dungeon (same, it鈥檚 important)

In the dungeon all bosses and mobs will be also killed, because it has been saved.
LFD must not save non-heroic dungeons, and must update them every time before entering them

https://github.com/TrinityCore/TrinityCore/issues/14331 contains a list of LFD issues, if this is not mentioned we can add it (and leave this one open ofc)

I think we can add this like:
Incorrect saving players dungeon data

by the way, about 10 months ago everything worked as it should
