When submitting the sniff, remember to specify if it was done by an alliance or horde character

Maybe it's better too make a new issue and list all the empty zones. Also who is going to spawn these zones now malcrom is gone? There are not many database guys that are willing to do this. I don't mind giving this a shot to spawn zones and waypoint it.

It's sniffed. in normal and heroic. spawning 95% complete.

Hour of Twilight is sniffed. most of the spawning here will have to be done by script.

Is sniffing a safe thing to do since you need to login with the sniff program open? Can someone not hack me through the program since it is closed source?

You dont need to login with the sniffer attached. You can also start it when you are logged in already.

start wow, go to your character screeen, start the sniffer by using the bat-file and just do things. If you wanna sniff creature spawns just fly arround and make sure that you have seen all creatures that you wanna have.

Note: the creatures you see before the sniffer is active, won't be included in the sniff. So be sure to go away from the place and be back there again so the sniffer picks up the spawn packets.

when you give sniffs to devs you will wait for their fixes or make some fixes by own...thats all

you need to have one registered account to post sniffs on the sniffs subforum, posting sniffs here allows anyone to known your characters, real name and other personal data.

Why sniffs are not accessible? Can some of these sniffs be given if we need to script? I'm scripting demon hunter zone

because sniffs contains personal info, for example real name of sniffer.

Is there a solution for those Who don't have retail that is not "wait for TC"? Sadly no1 is scripting master branch content, but lots of people contribute to 3.3.5 branch and 4.3.4 repo on gitlab

@LuigiElleBalotta : If you are prepared to contribute to TC master branch, you could ask for access to sniff info on IRC, but that also depends on if you have started the process by creating a PR (or issue if contribution is SQL only) so it is obvious that you will use the info for TC contribution. Previous contributions to TC is a plus, making it easier to trust you with that info.

I'm just doing a 7.3.5 full sniff of all zones to get all scaling data.
It will take some time.

@Aokromes i have been sniffing alot of Legion for AshamaneCore maybe you want what i have too? a friend of mine has been working hard on Pandaria sniffing.
