Toggldesktop: pressing Start makes Plasmashell leak memory up to 10GB

Processors: 6 × Intel® Core™ i5-9400 CPU @ 2.90GHz
Memory: 15.5 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® UHD Graphics 630
Toggl Version: 7.5.324

🐞 Actual behavior

pressing Start in Toggl makes KDE Plasmashell use about 10GB RAM. starts slowly, about 5-10MB/sec

💯 Expected behavior

Plasmashell should stay at about 200mb RAM usage

🔨 Steps to reproduce

open toggle
press Start
and observe Plasmashell eating RAM slowly

📦 Additional info

Toggldektop package was from here.
I have not noticed any weird logs, nothing special is on sdtout... and I made a video also, hope it will help...

Hello, I also seem to experience this.

I can reproduce this in 7.5.324. I think it's related to its plasmashell widget, every second it consumes +10mb. The memory consumed keep in plasmashell's heap. It grows and grows with no end... and I need to restart plasmashell every few hours 😢

Hi, just wanted to throw in that I am also experiencing this issue. Using KDE Plasma 5.20.5 on Fedora 33. Memory leak reaches about 5GB in ~3 hours running the TogglTrack timer.
