Toggldesktop: Start Toggl automatically when Windows starts up

I often forget to open Toggl when I log into my computer so it would be great if there was an option to open it automatically.

This can be solved by dragging Desktop shortcut to the Windows Startup folder. Check it out: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/run-program-automatically-windows-starts#1TC=windows-7

How about it? Cannot be so difficult to be able to start on startup with an additional start in background option.

If anybody is interested to start Toggl Desktop when logging in but automatically minimizing it:

Import this file in the Windows Task Scheduler.

Our team started using the Win app, and two of us already mention this topic. Would be nice to have an option to allow the app to run on windows start up. I know how to do it manually, but its much better to have the option.

Just ran into the same thing, this is something really basic that a simple desktop app like Toggl seriously needs.

Your requests have been fulfilled and Run the app on Windows login checkbox was added to Preferences and to the installer which makes the app start minimized when launching Windows.

Version x64 after install and run, works fine.
But after restart, autostart not run and can not run the application manually.

@betagoo, Perform an uninstall and then install 7.4.475 version again.
If it doesn't help please share the logs, either here or send them to [email protected]. Logs are files toggldesktop.log and toggldesktop.log.0 from %LOCALAPPDATA%\TogglDesktop folder.
