Todo-tree: TODOs Not Showing in Sidebar

Hello, recently I’ve noticed the extension seems to have stopped showing my TODOs in the sidebar. They are highlighted just fine in the editor, and reverting to a version of this extension from a month ago made them show up in the sidebar again.

I’ve disabled all my custom settings (such as globs) and checked the output logs, where it says there are 150 matches, yet the sidebar remains empty, saying there’s nothing found, even after waiting several minutes and refreshing a few times. I’ve also tried disabling all other extensions except this one to no avail. I’m on the latest version of VSC (and the latest version of this extension).

My debug logs show a bunch of match objects followed by “Found 150 items”, if needed I can upload the full logs from desktop later; I’m currently on mobile.

I have not tried what @StretchyAlien suggested, but I have found that applying a filter (does not matter what) then clearing the filter repopulates the list.

Try removing the "icon" specifier from todo-tree.customHighlight. In this build i've just noticed that having anything in that field will cause the behavior you're seeing.

@bplubell - the latest version (0.0.132) should fix the filter issue - can you confirm if it is still happening?

I noticed the issue today, which was after 0.0.132 was installed (it updated yesterday morning for me). So yes, I can say it happened at least once for me today.

It does not seem to happen all the time and I have yet to find any common cause when it does. I'll keep a close eye on it.
