Tdesktop: 2.4.7 "<person> typing" not displaying in chat list for the chat
when someone is writing a message for you in a personal chat, there is no "...typing" displayed for this chat in the chat list, you can only see "... typing" it if you open the chat with this currently typing person.

@john-preston "last seen" was hidden from me for a long time, but the issue i described was not in earlier version, before 2.4.5

+1. This used to appear in the chat list regardless of "last seen" settings; it now only appears within the active chat panel. It's useful to see when typing is occurring in other windows.

Could this be fixed? It works correctly with other clients, and it worked in previous versions of tdesktop as well.
It doesn't really make sense to hide the typing status in the chats list. It makes even less sense if you consider that you can see that the user is online in the chats list when the user is typing, even if the last seen status is hidden...
I think this should be considered as an (annoying) bug and not as the intended behaviour.
