By the way, the cross-platform portable Telegram does not exhibit this problem for me.
Full reinstall of an app resolved problem.
I've removed Telegram through the uninstaller and completely remove C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Telegram Desktop directory
And then install it again
this issue is still valid?
I had the same problem and wiping + reinstalling helped me aswell.
The issue is most likely still valid - I had it just 6 days ago
The issue occurred for me after upgrading to Windows 10 version 2004. The default (communication) audio devices changed so I suspect that might have something to do with it. However, after changing them back in Windows, Telegram still refused to connect to calls. The ringing sound still worked fine.
After uninstalling and reinstalling Telegram I can make calls again.
The issue is still valid. Telegram version 2.2
Windows build 19041
Issue cleared after re-installation.
LOG: log.txt
This log is useless for call problems, unfortunately.
libtgvoip logs its errors to DebugLogs/last_call_log.txt in tdesktop data folder (%APPDATA%\Telegram Desktop on Windows)
Debug logs could be activated by typing debugmode like a cheat code in settings.
