Tdesktop: Can I make a "tg://" link to a user?

Steps to reproduce

1. Add <a href="tg://feakuru">@feakuru</a> to an html page
2. Click the link on desktop
3. The TG Desktop app pops up, but not the dialog with the linked user - only the home screen

Expected behaviour

App should open a dialog with the user who has that username

Actual behaviour

The TG Desktop app pops up, but not the dialog with the linked user - only the home screen

Configuration

Operating system: Windows, Mac, Linux

Version of Telegram Desktop: 1.4.3

Used theme: standard

I will add that I am located in Russia, so using t.me links is not an option for me as Telegram is blocked by our government. 😢
