What would you like on Statping?
An option to have statping not follow HTTP 3XX redirects when doing status checks
Describe the solution you'd like
A Toggle option per check to follow redirects or not
Describe alternatives you've considered
I've tried setting the expected status code to 302, but it still reports as down because statping follows redirects when doing HTTP status checks

No
Additional context
Hey @tyler-public , I have a similar issue I think. Let me explain. I'm watching the following url: https://bjornvandenboom.nl. This give a 301, because it redirects to https://bjornvandenboom.com. But fort some reason, statping thinks it is resulting in a 404 and I really don't know why. Do you have a clue?
WARN[0964] Service bjornvandenboom.nl Failing: HTTP Status Code 404 did not match 200 | Lookup in: 7.83 ms type=core
+1 for this feature. My use case is that I want to check that the 301 itself is present and functioning correctly (not that the target of the redirect is up).
@hunterlong could you please assign the enhancement and planned feature label to this Issue?
I will implement it when I have time - I hope that I don't forget it.
This issue hasn't had any updates in a while. If this is still a problem, please create a new issue.
