Got this fixed myself. Just replace the port number in the HOST file of the .spk file and it just installs. You can copy the HOST file with opening the spk file with 7zip and then repack it replacing the HOST file. Hope this works for you guys too.

I'm getting the error "Port 7878 configured for this package is either used by another service or reserved for system use." I've also checked with netstat, and the port is not in use. DSM 5.2-5644 Update 5.

Synology 1515+

Hi, it appears that DSM 5.x holds onto ports under 8000 for High Availability, which is causing some issues with this package at present.

But I have the DSM 6.x version installed and it looks like I have the same issues. Hope this can be fixed. Love to try out the package.

If you disable the synology firewall, it works

I have disabled my firewall, rebooted the NAS and still getting the same error. Any logs I can take a look at to troubleshoot this any more?

I've also tried to disable the firewall without any effect - As @KaraokeStu said, it seems to be related to HA, it uses port 7400 - 7999

Any way the package can be changed to another port that is not part of the 7400-7999 range?

Yes, it's being worked on at the moment and should be done this weekend

Anything on this? Still having the issue

Unfortunately I'm having the same issue :( I'm also on DSM 5.2-5644 Update 5

yeroentje, any possibility you can share the modified .spk? I'm afraid I don't really possess the technical chops to recompile it. Thanks!

@quenlin the latest package from package manager as the updated ports now.

This issue has been resolved with the latest spk I've published
