Spectacle: Where does spectacle save shortcuts settings

I'm trying to backup the preferences files for Spectacle so that I can install it automatically and don't need to reconfigure the shortcuts each time I install it on a new machine.
I thought everything is stored in ~/Library/Preferences/com.divisiblebyzero.Spectacle.plist but somehow it's not working for me.
Right now I'm hard linking a file from dropbox folder to ~/Library/Preferences/com.divisiblebyzero.Spectacle.plist

Shortcuts are now under ~/Library/Application Support/Spectacle/Shortcuts.json.

That should be the correct file. What do you mean by it's not working for you? It might be necessary to copy that file with the proper permissions and ownership before you launch Spectacle for the first time on a new machine.

Hopefully #45 will help you in the future.

Hello, I have tried copying my preference file back from my old OS installation but the app insists on launching with the default shortcuts. I tried chowning the file and repairing/verifying permissions, all to no avail. Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance.

Shortcuts are now under ~/Library/Application Support/Spectacle/Shortcuts.json.
