Spaceship-prompt: Can't change default prompt prefix.

Issue

Setting the SPACESHIP_PROMPT_DEFAULT_PREFIX doesn't seem to work. I tried reloading and restarting the terminal, the annoying via is still there >:C

Why are you source-ing the theme file at the end of your .zshrc? As far as I understand this will reset all values to the default ones. Simply loading the theme with

ZSH_THEME="spaceship"

should suffice.

Can you try whether it works without the last line of your .zshrc?

We are talking about two things, let's try to clarify:

1. Changing SPACESHIP_PROMPT_SYMBOL: This is working as intended as per original screenshot and per comment of @crapthings
2. The crux of this ticket is that changing SPACESHIP_PROMPT_DEFAULT_PREFIX doesn't have the expected effect. Could you try to set this variable before you load the theme?

I both removed the last line and set the variable before loading the theme. Issue persists.

Okay nevermind, after playing around with it a little, it seems that setting the variable before loading the theme does the trick, but just sourcing the .zshrc file afterwards won't work, you have to quit and reopen the terminal for the change to show. Even though it's not very intuitive, this'll do for now. Thanks for the help @dmohns .
