When I open another terminal, I'm seeing the following issue on Ubuntu 18.04 as a non-root user:
/home/conradwt/.oh-my-zsh/oh-my-zsh.sh:source:118: no such file or directory: /home/conradwt/.oh-my-zsh/themes/spaceship.zsh-theme
A clear and concise description of the behavior.
Expected behavior
I would expect to not receive a file not found or directory warning.

Possible solution
I installed using npm like you however I did not change the theme and left the default ZSH_THEME="robbyrussell" <--- Change it back to that and see if that fixes your issue.
Looks like you are following the npm install instructions and the ZSH instructions. I believe (someone correct me if I am wrong) you should do one or the other for installing.
@jesseneal Let me give it a go again because the instructions didn't mention changing the theme.
Yes, this worked as expected. Now, I need to dig into the documentation to get Fira Code or Fira Mono installed and accessible within the WSL. Thanks again and this issue can be closed.
