Hello @MegumiSoft 馃檪
It's a small thing, but it will make a huge difference - you need to remove the first / from the path of the sample. Then it should work 馃憤
(By the way, in case it helps, you can also drag a sample from your file manager straight into the Sonic Pi window, and it will insert the text of the sample's file path into the buffer).

Thank's a lot for the promt response and help, I was actually dragging the files and folders into the complier, I guess that's just the way addresses displayed when dragged in on my pc, I removed the first back slash from the address and something changed, although, I got a differrent error, could it be the file format? I've, only tried .wav so far and following examples I thought it was compatible.

Thanks for taking the time. =)

What version of Sonic Pi are you using? The latest release version of Sonic Pi is 3.2.2 - if you are not using that, I would definitely encourage you to switch.

I had to install v 2.11.1 because I had problems with new version, it will allways crash on load screen, that was the only version I was able to run on my pc, even though is medium to high tier equipement, i'll try installing the new version again.

Please do! If it still crashes whenever it loads, the key is to send us log information so that we might be able to troubleshoot it for you. After all, much better to fix a recent version than to try to work with an out of date one 馃槃

This is nuts! it worked! I try to install it one more time and this time I was able to run it and import external samples, thanks a lot! (never thought of trying again after many rounds of failure)

Now I'm going to have fun, this is awesome!

Great to hear it - enjoy 馃殌
