Hi,
Since the last version (v2.11.1), i can't save my records anymore.
I'm on MAC 10.11.4 El Capitan, when i press record and then click on it again, it opens the dialog, i put the name of the record then nothing.
On the trace i can see "=> Stop recording" but if i press Rec again, it shows "=> Already recording..." i tried reboot, same problem.
Which was the last version that worked for you? :)
My last saved record is from 18 december, and i had just the previous one so v2.11.0
Found that in the server-error log, maybe it can help:

Very odd - I'm completely unable to reproduce this locally.
Does this error happen to you every time you attempt to record? Is there any chance you could record a screencast of this behaviour?
Could you also load up one of the example compositions and attempt to record that? For example :rerezzed.
Tried to reinstall - same problem
Tried to record :rezerred - same problem
I'm now updating to macOS Sierra, maybe it's a OS version problem
And yes it happens everytime, can't record at all.
Could you let me know the specific file name you're attempting to save to?
Could you also download v2.11 and just verify that this bug doesn't appear for you with that specific version?
Ok so i tried with the v2.11, it works correctly. (It shows the message in trace "saved at /path/to/song", not in the current version)
About the filename for the current version, nothing is not working:
Just for sanity - could you try saving in v2.11 around 10 times in a row and ensure that it works correctly every time? It's possible that it's a bug which happens occasionally.
What's the file name that you are trying to save to?

@samaaron v2.11 works everytime (10 times in a row worked)
@llloret I answered in my last post, i tried multiple names
Ok, thanks, it was trimmed on the email, so I didn't see the names.

OK, further investigation shows that this error doesn't seem to appear in macOS Sierra, but I can get it to rear its ugly head on previous versions of macOS.
Now I can reproduce it, I should be able to find a fix :-)
I have the same issue. Here's a video to show what happens, or lack there of.
I'm seeing this issue with Mac OS 10.11.6 and Sonic Pi v2.11.1.
Having same issue: MacOS 10.11.6, Sonic Pi v2.11.1
Same issue on 10.12.2 working with Sonic Pi 2.11.1 ..no wav files saved.
With Sonic Pi 2.11 everything is doing OK
I have same issue: MacOS 10.11.6, Sonic Pi v2.11.1.
Hi, I have same issue (MacOS El Capitan, Sonic Pi v2.11.1)
I upgraded MacOS, but I have same issue.(MacOS 10.12.3, Sonic Pi v2.11.1.)
Apologies - this is a known bug and will be addressed in v2.12 which I hope to release before April.
I am also confirming this issue. Maybe MacOS Sierra Beta 6. Cannot record :/ But looking forward for fix. Thanks Sam.
This is closed because the bug is fixed?
Same bug on sierra :'(
This will be fixed in the next release out at the end of June. :)

Indeed, this bug is still there, can't wait for the next version :-)
This bug was addressed in v3.0.
Please feel free to re-open if you're still having issues recording audio with v3.0+ of Sonic Pi.
