Feature Request:
We have over 2000 desktops/laptops and want to put our volume licensing keys on here so we can keep track of seats. Going to be a lengthy job assigning 2000 windows 10 licenses and 2000 office licensed...
This is similar to issue #588 but instead of assets its for licenses instead. I cant see this being a big job... maybe it is I don't know but bulk checkout of licenses would be a HUGE help for it admins like myself.
We would love this too, checking out an Office/Windows license to each user is a lengthy redundant process that can easily be solved if there was a csv import option for checking out licenses to users/assets

Would love to open this one back up. I'm doing an initial import from an old system to Snipe IT, and having to individually checkout licenses to each user is not something I have the bandwidth for.
How would you see this working?
Silly, I should have posted up a use case initially.
My particular use case:
I know that all users that have an email address domain of companya.com need to have an O365 license checked out, and all users with companyb.com need a GSuite license checked out. The process to do this would be something like:
When I choose O365 and hit go, I would expect the system to enumerate the license seats, and assign empty seats to each user I have selected. Naturally skipping over seats that are already taken, users that already have the license, and possibly an error message if you run out of seats.
This goes hand in hand with the other feature request I commented on (#4925). Our HR department wants to keep track of not only the asset cost per user, but also the monthly license cost. Having to checkout the licenses individually (which I've already done, took a few hours) is a major pain. I'm sure future users would appreciate an easier solution.
This solution would be great for us too; our issue is to checkout more than 300+ seats for different software like O365, CALs, AV, etc. ...
Is still a thing? - i really need it on my end.
Definitely would be interested in this.
