This is possibly related to the outage yesterday but I keep receiving dozens of 'Error handling incoming message' notifications from one particular chat on Mac desktop client. I've seen similar issues reported on Ubuntu and for the Note to Self feature. I've received over a hundred of these notifications on desktop since yesterday morning, all of them timestamped 11:50am.
Oddly enough, on the iPhone app I've received hundreds of 'Chat session refreshed' notifications for the same chat. This is the only chat this is happening with - all of my other individual and group chats are behaving as normal.

I am having the same issue for quite some time for MacOS and iOS 14.3
i simply reset chat session by going to the chat where the error messages are shown, click the three dots on the top right and then reset session. I am guessing this more to be a bug with the encryption rather than any data packet loss.
Thanks MarkVI2! I gave that a try and it seems to have worked. Appreciate the tip.
This should be added to the Trouble Shooting page

That doesn't work for me.
There's a label Secure session reset appearing at the bottom of the discussion but the Error handling incoming message are still there.
I encountered this today on both MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 & Windows 10 after on my Android 9.0 phone it said "Chat Session Refreshed" 13 times. There are about 3800 unread "error handling incoming message" on Mac and the Windows chat is still counting up quickly (over 5000 now). Huge problem.
I'm running Signal beta on all devices, and sender is running production Signal on Android 10 (I think perhaps the one downloaded from the website, rather than the Play Store)
Here's the debug log from the Mac:

@ianstrasser It would be very helpful to get a log from the Android sender of those messages, since their device appears to be repeatedly sending the same message. Can you ask that user for a debug log?
