The context menu (right click) does not work.
There are already problems from the previous version. I just got an update to v. 1.32.1 and the problem persists. Right click does not give results in either the message writing window, message list or contact list.
Signal Version:
v1.32.1

Ditto. I'm running windows 10, RMB menu no longer there. V annoying
Can confirm. Same problem on Windows 10 Pro 64bit.
I'm on a VM of Windows 10 Pro 1909 18363.693, and I'm seeing the context menu - on message bubble text (just one item: Copy), on message bubble links (Copy Link) and in the message composition box (the full menu with spellcheck suggestions).
@stig-ms @fancellu @jl-cs What else can you tell me about your configuration?

This bug seems related to the changes made in 1.32.1 to solve linux blue screen and appears to be locale related as well.
Right click menu works as expected for me with both LANG=en_US and LANG=it_IT but doesn't display anything if I start Signal with LANG=en_GB
and spell-check doesn't appear to work as well with en_GB even if log reports
"Detected English locale on Linux. Enabling spell check.","v":0
This is on Ubuntu 19.10 with Signal 1.32.1, so the bug is present in all op.systems
Don't think it make sense to open another identical bug for Linux
Everyone: the bug title suggests that the context menu doesn't work at all. Is that true for you? Or is it just spellcheck suggestions which are missing? Please try my three scenarios from above:
for me in ubuntu-mate 19.10 the issue is only with the composition box.
No problem at all in message bubbles both with it_IT or en_GB locales.
in composition box:
Seems that this might be a duplicate of https://github.com/signalapp/Signal-Desktop/issues/4031
Though, what we need is windows users weighing in, given the title of the issue!
I totally agree.
Seems the same issue seen form different points of view.
And appears related to locales and the new electron.
Strangely enough, if my memory is not joking at me, this Right Click unavailability with en_GB locale is new to v1.32.1 , while during my tests for #4014 with v1.32 it used to work properly.
Please try my three scenarios from above:
- _message bubble text (just one item: Copy)_ : no menu
- _message bubble links (Copy Link)_ : menu OK
- _message composition box (the full menu with spellcheck suggestions)_ : no menu

Confirming. The context menu appears if selecting previous messages, but context menu does not appear in the "Write a message" - bubble / message composing window.
Windows 10 Pro, v1909 18363.720

I can confirm the same issue.
Windows 10 Pro

No longer reproducible in v1.32.2. Appears to be fixed.
Works fine for me too
Now also working for me.
@stig-ms it also works for me now in v1.32.2. The bug seems to have been fixed.
