Bug Description

Unable to import stickers into the sticker pack creator

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create/upload sticker pack
2. Import png or webp file with transparent background and the correct sizes

Actual Result: "Error processing image"

Expected Result: Imported image

Hi, @Poid-bit, @emilasdf, and @christalib -- would it be possible to zip up some images which aren't working for you and either upload them here or email them to [email protected]? Image files which aren't working would be greatly helpful for debugging this issue.

I'm having the same problem on windows 10, I'll update if I can fix it on a fork

I get this error message with every image, including ones I successfully used in sticker packs in previous versions.

Here's a link to a beta with a working sticker creator. I believe that the issue is that part of the image processing isn't being done asynchronously, but I don't have a very thorough knowledge of javascript, so take that with a grain of salt.

@Poid-bit: if you're desperate, older betas function.

It is as @gfs said, every image. I tried to grab some stock images in .png from the Internet to see it is wasn't my crops that broke. But I can send some sample later on today.

Sweet, but unfortunately it seems to be an .exe files. Do you have a version that'd work for linux systems?

Reproduced on Ubuntu Budgie 19.10 on Signal Desktop (apt) 1.30.0-beta6
All images give the "Error processing image" message.
I also noticed the sticker pack creator window does not follow the dark theme setting of the main window, and it takes longer than usual to load
