Confirmed. For several days now there is a problem with this on all the devices on which I tested Signal (Android, iOS and Desktop).

Someone on the community forum said that YouTube recently changed something on their end that affected embedding previews in other apps, and that Discord had to deal with a similar issue.

Was there a fix for this problem or why was this issue closed? Don't see a commit and Android issue is still open.

YouTube previews should now be working. @CG-ROM can you check to see if the issue is fixed for you?

confirmed this is working again as expected for youtube links. great work. tested on macOS 10.14.6 Signal 1.27.4.
