Perhaps you're having a seperate issue freetobe113, can you submit a debug log?

This is a session state issue between the desktop and mobile clients. I bet you don't see messages on your desktop that were sent from your phone.

You can fix this by sending yourself a reset session message, or unlink and relink the desktop app.

Can we find out what caused this?

Was the desktop client offline for a longer period?

Yes, I don't see messages sent from my phone, only replies during that conversation.

I don't think the desktop client was offline for an exceptionally long time, a few days at most.

Unlinking and relinking seems to have solved the problem. Thank you.

Neither of these solutions worked for me... :(

@freetobe113 Looks like a separate issue. There are several 'sync successful' events in your log. Please contact [email protected] for further assistance.

okay, thanks

EDIT: I don't think this is related. Creating separate issue...

There is an issue, which I think could be related to this:
1) I am invited to a group, and I join on iOS
2) I leave that group on iOS
3) When I check signal on desktop, I am still _receiving messages_ from that group, and have to leave again

Let me know if I should create a separate issue, or leave this information here.

@9082189732 did you get what you needed from support?

I'm going to consider this closed, since the original issue appears to have been resolved.
