Since today the badge in Dependencies/David is broken with the "inaccessible" status.
Also I tried to create it once again but the same result happened on shields.io.

Looks like https://david-dm.org/ is down.

There's a tracking issue at https://github.com/alanshaw/david/issues/163 but it seems to have been on and off for a while.

We'll have to keep an eye on this one. If its consistently down/flaky we may need to look at deprecating this one.

August 24, They are still down. What can be done here for now? Most of my projects used the dependencies badge. Guess I have to update every readme file.

This is down, again. The lack of stability with the David service is rather concerning. If it wasn't such a popular I'd badge I'd be inclined to just go ahead and deprecate it
