In order to improve performance and let OpenGL pipeline the latency for the image mixer and screen consumer has been increased. This should probably be configurable and maybe heuristic?
Some of the image mixer latency could potentially be hidden inside consumers. Unsure...
Especially for any live chain (for example Decklink-Input/Producer to Decklink-Output/Consumer) through CasparCG it is important to keep the latency as low as possible with stable operation.
