I'll get this error on bitbucket integration install.

Yes. The default retention period is 90 days tho, keep that in mind (this can be adjusted if you need more).

I'd also still back up my data, just in case something goes wrong.

So, unfortunately, we don't have any docs of how to set up Bitbucket cloud for on-prem users. We are working on adding those missing docs, however.
