Scala is growing as a choice in high-performance computing environments and data science, offering both OO and functional approaches. Developers would highly benefit from support in semgrep.

Looks like there is a tree-sitter grammar for it: https://github.com/tree-sitter/tree-sitter-scala

@izar it would be great if you could evaluate whether the tree-sitter-scala parser is good and can parse correctly
a big percentage of your code.
